Tools

It is your job to introduce yourself with a technology of your choosing. Sure you want to choose something cool, but you also want to work quickly (you only have about 20 minutes). If you're great at Power Point, perhaps you should do a slide show. If you're a Glogster ninja, use Glogster.(Conversely, don't attempt to use Glogster if you don't even have an account. Just because the kid next to you has a cool intro doesn't mean you should waste 15 minutes signing up for a new tool you've never used before.)Here are some links to tools you may have used for other classes. If you haven't used them, stick with something you know, like Word or Power Point.
Also, keep in mind that we have plenty of software installed on our workstations that you may have used at home before to create content, such as:
  • PowerPoint
  • Illustrator
  • Photostory
Are you really awesome? You could always do a Mash-up of multiple mediums (eg: a PowerPoint with a Wordle in it or a Glog with an embedded Voki and Wordle... woah).
